He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Sudan, and has published several articles in The New Arab and Geeska. His first translated book, The Social Contract by Jean-Jacques Rousseau, is forthcoming.
Sakariye Maxamuud Faarax is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Economics at Jigjiga University in the Somali Regional State of Ethiopia. He is a creative Somali poet and has published articles in Geeska.
